Commended in 2015 UK Landscape Photographer of the Year (LPOTY) competition

For the second year running I have been commended in the Take a View LPOTY competition, this time with an image taken close to the Cat and Fiddle road in Cheshire:



The image will feature in the 9th volume of LPOTY, published by AA, and out for sale in November. The image will also be exhibited on the Mezzanine level of London Waterloo Station from 23 November 2015 to 7 February 2016.

This image of Perch Rock Lighthouse, New Brighton, made it through to the final in the category 'Dawn' and will be featured in the December issue of the magazine.

I will have 2 images featured in the May 2015 edition of Outdoor Photography magazine. The first image is a finalist in the competition on winter landscapes, and was taken near Middle Black Clough in the Peak District:

Delighted to announce that I came second in the 2014 Amateur Photographer of the Year competition, sponsored by Olympus.
Commended in the 2014 Landscape Photographer of the Year (LPOTY) competition

My image, taken from Tegg's Nose in Cheshire, has been commended in the UK's most prestigious landscape photography competition. The image will feature in the 8th volume of the LPOTY, published by AA, and out for sale on 10 November. The image will also be exhibited on the Mezzanine level of London Waterloo Station from 1 December 2014 to 31 January 2015.

Winner of the 2013 Barnaby Photo Competition

This year's Barnaby theme was metamorphosis, and the image below won with the title 'From Red to Gold' - in celebration of Sarah Storey's gold medals in the 2012 London Paralympics.

Overall winner of the 2012-2013 print competition

The 2012-2013 season of the Macclesfield Camera Club had 5 themed print competitions: 2 open, street photography, depth of field, recreate an iconic image. I scored the highest total overall and thus received the Diamond Jubilee Cup for that season.
