Commissioned by Amberley Publishing to produce a photography book on Cheshire
01st November 2018
I have recently signed with Amberley Publishing to produce a photography book to be called 'Cheshire in Photographs,' following on in their series of publications documenting the counties of the UK in pictures.

This is an exciting new project for me, and will allow me to explore the whole of Cheshire from Macclesfield in the east to Chester and Neston in the west, and from Runcorn in the north to Nantwich and beyond in the south. The book will cover towns, villages, countryside, industry, heritage and attractions, and will also feature Cheshire throughout the seasons. There will be approximately 130 pictures in the book, with an introduction and biography. I have committed to deliver my contributions by end of July 2019, with a possible publication date by the end of 2019 (to be confirmed).

Collaboration with artist Rob Wilson
07th November 2017
I was recently approached by local artist Rob Wilson to use one of my images of Castlefield, Manchester, as a starting point for one of his mixed media creations. It was wonderful to see his creative process, as documented in his Mixed Media Book 3 publication, and to see the finished canvas artwork at his recent exhibition in the wonderful Lockside Mill at Marple.

Here is my original photograph:

And here is a link to Rob's site - the second image titled 'Three Bridges' is his creation from my photograph:
